A normal day ... ruined by the act of a Fucking Idiot. I will not go into the itsy-bitsy details and just go straight to the point. Went to school to study, was about 4.30 when this happened. We never did much ... the thoughts of playing was always a distraction. We were playing cards at the row of tables outside the HOD room. Everything was great until the Dickhead showed up.
He called out to us for something which we had no idea about and were stunned. He then proceeded to speak rubbish such that a normal human would not be able to comprehend it. After ending his moronic fit of spouting nonsense, that retard walked up to us like a monkey and grabbed my cards. He wanted to confiscate my cards. At that point in time, I had wanted to throw the cards on the floor and let him pick it up like the dog he is.
He was like the worst kind of security guard ever! Even real professional law enforcers like policeman will give a warning for something more serious like stealing and put that person on probation. This bloody guy never even gave us a warning to ask us not to play and just took it away. Kids, when you grow up, in whatever you do please be more professional.
Anyway, what kind of power allowed him to exercise his authority like nobody's business?! Was it even part of a Security Guard's jurisdiction to confiscate my cards?! The teachers who saw us playing never even made a sound about it and it was a Security Guard, whose rank was below that of the teacher's, that made a fuss out of nothing. What a Bastard! Mrs Ram saw us playing, never said anything and even laughed. Mr Kat, walked past without a thought of asking us to stop. Besides some teachers of whom we hid the cards from, we were open about playing with the cards. For goodness sake, the security guard under that Imbecile walked past us like 2-3 times, saw us playing and did nothing. Somehow, I feel sad for the security guard under that Sucker.
Well I guess this was his first time catching someone playing cards in school. He had to announce it to the alumnus who were back to help do decorations for Prom Nite. Other reasons of why I think that Asshole did it. He wanted to show off his power in front of his subordinate ... you know, act big, but too bad he's big in the wrong way, laterally big. Another reason, he must not have had sex with his wife for a long long time. Old man are always grumpy when they are not satisfied. But who can help it if he looked like Freddy from Nightmare On Elm Street. I guess he won't be having sex with his wife anytime soon or even in this lifetime.
Its not like we broke any school rules. Some of you might think that us playing with cards(poker) is considered gambling as stated on page 29 of the 2008 student handbook under the category Personal Standard of Conduct. According to the dictionary, gambling means to stake or risk money, or anything of value, on the outcome of something involving chance (source: Dictionary.com "http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/gambling"). We were playing CHEAT without any money involved, my god! Another thing, in page 28 of the 2008 student handbook under the category Personal Standard of Conduct, it states in the subheading: Others, the school's policy on prohibited items. In general, they were items that do not contribute to the school learning environment, such as expensive jewellery, branded articles, mobile phones, Walkman, disc man etc. Poker cards are never expensive, they can be bought at S$3 in stationary shops. Although the cards do not contribute to the school learning environment, they should be able to be brought into the school during holidays. Reason being, everyone brings their mobile phones to school during the holidays, then why weren't any confiscated? If the cards were taken, I would like to see all mobile phones taken too, during the holidays.
If the school had really not wanted us to bring these items to school even during the holidays, they should take a stricter approach then, because now, this approach is NOT working. Let me give you an idea, for starters, force every single student in the school to read the Standard of Conduct and make it a daily routine until it is beaten into their head. You can stop after a few months but if any student gets caught with any forbidden item, force them to read it again for the next few months. I'm 1000% sure they will fear their mobile phones and won't even touch it, much less bring it to school. What a Great! idea.
Whatever, its my last few weeks in this school anyway so I don't give a damn about what that desperate sicko wants to do with that pack of cards. He can have it for his dinner cos he's so poor that he can't even afford to buy leftovers 1 year old.
